People. Business. Possibility.

Behind every next chapter: people.

Businesses move forward when the right people have a clear direction. We exist to connect your talent decisions with what you’re building next.

Our belief

A hire is never just a hire.

It’s a decision about where your business goes next.

  1. First, understand.

The ambition. The team. The challenge. A useful recommendation starts with the business behind the role.

  2. Then, build what fits.

A critical hire, ongoing talent support or a distributed team. The partnership should match the moment you’re in.

  3. Help the business evolve.

Improve the processes we’re invited into, so the work supports your company’s next stage.

That’s the thinking behind Spot On TLNT. See how we partner

13+ years in recruiting

From our founder

Growth rarely arrives with a clear hiring plan.

I built Spot On TLNT because I kept meeting founders who wanted to grow but were still working out what their business needed, what their budget could support and where to start.

Those conversations happened over coffee, at startup meetups and on discovery calls. After 13+ years in recruiting, I’ve learned how much a hiring plan can change once we understand the work behind it.

For one bootstrapped client, we started with a part-time helpdesk specialist and a monthly agreement. Her contribution grew to include documentation, automations and workflows. When a peak in volume prompted a conversation about full-time support, I recommended waiting. We kept reviewing the workload with both the client and the contractor before making a larger commitment.

That is the kind of judgment I want Spot On TLNT to bring.

We built three partnership models around different needs: ongoing talent support, a focused search and a flexible way to add capacity. Each starts with understanding the business and agreeing on the support that makes sense.

We plan with our clients, carry out the recruiting and act on what we learn. We raise concerns, explain the market and help strengthen the processes around a hire.

A useful partnership should leave a company with greater clarity about its people decisions and better ways to put those decisions into practice.

Our perspective

A fresh perspective on what’s getting in the way.

A conversation about a hire can reveal a gap in communication, expectations or the way work gets organized.

We listen to the people involved, bring market context and question assumptions with you. Your knowledge of the business gives that perspective depth.

Leads to

An agreed next step.

  • A different role
  • A clearer process
  • A better way for the team to communicate

Together, we work out whether the next step is a different role, a clearer process or a better way for the team to communicate.

What you can expect

The standards we hold ourselves to.

  • Understand before recommending.

Start with the business need and the result you want to achieve.

  • Recommend what’s right.

Recommend the support that creates value, even when it means doing less or pointing you elsewhere.

  • Stay intentionally lean.

We believe resources should exist because they create value, not simply because they’re available.

  • Think beyond the placement.

A successful hire should support stronger talent practices and the company’s next stage.

  • Leave things better than we found them.

We help your company evolve by improving the processes you bring us in to support.

Our culture

Bring ideas. Make room for challenge.

We encourage the people we work with to keep learning, develop their judgment and contribute ideas.

We value clear, respectful disagreement.

  1. Raise the concern.
  2. Explain your reasoning.
  3. Listen to another perspective.
  4. Help move the conversation forward.

Alignment matters

We’re not for everyone. And that’s by design.

We’re clear about where our experience can help and where a search needs different expertise. We also recognize when the volume calls for a different recruiting operation.

If another approach would serve your business better, we’ll say so, help you think through the options and make an introduction when we know someone suitable.

Let’s talk strategy

Every great partnership starts with a conversation.

Tell us what’s changing in your business. You don’t need to have everything figured out — we’ll help you think through the next step.
